Knucklehead was the prettiest engine ever built by Harley-Davidson, or
anyone else for that matter. During the depths of the Depression, the
Motor Company spent years developing its overhead-valve design.
Still, combustion chamber efficiency has come a long way since the Knucklehead. Our Dual Plugging kit will eliminate the detonation your Knucklehead is prone to. Our replacement valve springs will reduce friction. And our Super Port Flow process will dramatically increase power. In addition, you should consider our No Lead Conversion service to save your valves from today's lower-octane, lead-free gas. Your beautiful Knucklehead will run cooler and have more power to boot. |
